Ag Progress Days
Pennsylvania's largest outdoor agricultural exposition, will return for its annual three-day run, August 17-19. Sponsored by Penn State's College of Agricultural Sciences, the event is held at the Russell E. Larson Agricultural Research Center at Rock Springs, nine miles southwest of State College on PA Route 45.

Horses In The Park- HIP
Last Sunday of each month, weather permitting.
Sunday, August 29, 2010 - 1:00 PM at Valley Green Inn, Forbidden Drive, Wissahickon Valley, Fairmount Park.
Come "Celebrate the Horse!" with An Equine Experience for an "up close & personal experience." Ask questions, meet and greet the horses and their riders. Learn about safe and proper etiquette when encountering a horse on the trail or Forbidden Drive and how to safely approach a horse.

Packing Clinic
Saturday - Sunday, September 25 - 26, 2010 -- Palmyra, PA
This two-day clinic/workshop is designed to familiarize participants with packing equipment, proper fit and a variety of packing styles, ropes and hitches to help you not only be able to pack materials and tools safely for trail work but also to cargo supplies to have a good time.
